Our maiden voyage with Coco and Rhonda (the Honda) was Fri., May 13. We drove to Austin late Friday and arrived after dark at the La Hacienda RV park at Lake Travis. Alan did a great job backing Coco into a pretty tight space. Thanks to the Workcampers for holding flashlights! Stephen came to see us Friday nite. Took NO photos all weekend - shame on us. Tried out our new grill at lunch on Saturday with John, Tina and the kids (from San Antonio), then Stephen and 4 buddies came for a dinner cookout and the Mavericks game.
We shared the driving back to DFW, made our first truck stop visit for diesel (thanks to a nice good ol' boy trucker for his help), and didn't have any major screwups! Bus is getting some last minute fixes before we head out for real in early June.
