We were all Really impressed with Austin. It is far from the stereotypical Texas scenery a lot of people might think. It is a really exciting and trendy city. We had a great time walking around and had an excellent dinner at the Saba Blue Water Cafe.

We also went to see one of Austin's symbols: the Austin bats that live under one of the bridges. They chose that bridge as their residence and their population is estimated at more than a million! Every night when the sun sets, they wake up and start hunting for food. They are protected for 2 purposes: keeping the mosquito population under control and for touristic purposes...

If you ever go through Texas make Austin a destination!
