humanity is at a crucial moment... to continue to embrace each other in all its differences or to deny what and who we really are. who are we? are we peace or are we vision? are we love or are we seperation? are we together or are we apart?

this poem is called the American Hot Dog

the american hotdog

the american dream

all of us together

or so it seems

embrace the world

with all of its variety

discrace the world in all of its division

the American Hotdog

taste so sweet

can we all sit down and have a treat

can we all sit down

on common ground

and embrace our differences

in the wake of transformation

can we agree not to agree and sit and hug

and we sit still for a moment and cherish the moment

can we eat a bite of american democracy

though there is problems

can we still perservere

we have problems here and we have problems abroad

let those abroad come here

and here abroad

we can work it out

with a taste of new perspective

travel

love

and returning to nowehere

just here

in the american hotdog

plain and simple

just a treat

sharing it because we built it together

sharing because we are in it together

we can use technology for good

we can use it for peace

all sharing each others dreams

and hopes and fears

and joys and sorrows

techno wizards

join together

join in union

for the great Union

be wealthy in spirit

wealthy in community

where ever you go

and whatever you do

join in tomorrow

since we are still looking for it

hoping for it to come

looking seeking hoping

the journey is the journey

and journey on

find love in the smallest speck of time spent with the fellow workers you may dislike

seeing them in you

and forgettting

what they said

because it all just comes out in an emotional wave

and we do not think sometimes

we just react

we just react from unseen and forgotten place

where we were wronged

or hurt

and no one cared

or you dared not to say anything

you held it in

but speak quietly

tell us softly why you hurt

and there you will have an audience

abe lincoln

barack obama

george washington

your neighbor

all hereoes

yes and indeed Mr. Bush

we the people

remember?

we the people

all for one

though it seems three

we the people

all in one

one in all

we the people

where will we go next

the american hot dog

the american dream

embrace what we have created

then create some more
