This week is going by so fast. I spent the day in Smoky Mountain National Park. (After getting lost again on the back roads leaving the condo. At least it wasn’t as bad as yesterday's adventure). I started out at Sugarlands visitor center, then hiked to the Cataract Falls. It was a beautiful hike. The trail is easy, anyone can do it. It is about a mile round trip. I then headed up the road to Clingmans Dome. I made a lot of stops along the way. There are a lot of pull-offs where you can stop. The views are gorgeous. I was able to add another state to states I’ve been in now. I had never been in North Carolina. The North Carolina and Tennessee borders are at the turn off to go up to Clingmans Dome. I hiked up to the over-look at Clingmans Dome. It was a very steep climb but on a paved surface. They have benches along the way up to rest. I meet a couple of people along the way up. We were going at about the same pace

North entrance at Gatlinburg and would stop to rest. I was proud of myself because I was not the last one to the top!!! I have never heard so many deep breathing men in all my life. I would hear someone behind me walking a little faster, I would look over my shoulder and it would be a man. The women were not breathing as hard. All the men sounded like they were making obscene phone calls!!
