Across the border from Charlotte to Rock Hill =D

A trip down memory lane...

...All began when we set off for Rock Hill, South Carolina on Sunday the 1st of August. After hearing about many of the cousins and stories from when they were younger, I finally got to meet Will's cousins and aunties and friends all in one hit.
Stacey and David drove us down there, their son JD, his girlfriend Audrey and their friend Mike along with us. The gathering was hosted at Stephanie and Allan's home (Frances and Stacey's sister and brother-in-law) which was absolutely beautiful on its wide open property complete with small paddocks, horses, shed and backyard deck&pool.

We also got to meed Stephanie and Allan's two children Caroline and Peyton, both of whom were very welcoming and interested to know about various things back at home =P
All of us "kids" got along great, splashing around in the pool and chatting about random things.

The food. Was. Amazing. I swear thats all i've done since ive been here, eaten and then eaten some more. Allan introduced me to this amazing barbecue pork that i'd never tried before, and subsequently went back a second time for, and the night was

finished off nicely with some oreo cheesecake (oh my god) and wishing Stacey a happy birthday.

After all that food, all I wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep all day, despite what Will and myself had agreed too "yeah sure we'll stay up as late as we can so we will actually sleep in" which never happened. 10.30 on the dot I was in bed half asleep and ready to get my dream on.
Today was a lovely lazy day, wake up at 8am not being able to sleep any more, slowly getting out of bed and getting ready to go to a fast food joint known as "Five Guys" which Will had been telling me was renowned for their amazing but oh-so heavy food. He was absolutely right- it was a meal and a half that we never finished.

To work off that energy-dense lunch, Stacey walked us down to a lovely little natural health food shop called Berrybrook Farm, where I bought two types of jam (strawberry and cherry) and some much needed vitamin C. We then walked over to Handpicked where I bought a lovely leaf shaped stone necklace that I plan on wearing 24/7.

Right now i'm sitting in the room Will and I are sharing at Stacey and David's, Will is messing around with the Neti Pot thing he bought and I am about to take a nap. Oh the joys of not having anything to do =D
