D-Day - Depart Burgettstown

Well, the day finally got here. We left home this morning at 8:00 with the sun shining brightly. Other than a traffic tie up due to a 4 car accident on 77 near Charlotte NC (which held us up for about a half hour) the trip was smooth. At least when we were held up we didn't have to worry about any time schedule, we had plenty of gas, had just eaten AND had just pottied - thank goodness - LOL.

We are staying at a hotel in Orangeburg, SC right off Rt 26. Tomorrow we will have an easy 6 hour drive so we plan on just taking our time in the morning and checking out a couple towns along the way. We'll go to Jim & Leah's (Larry's nephew and his wife that live in The Villages) after dinner. We'll spend tomorrow and Wednesday night with them and go to the real estate Thursday morning to get our keys and gate passes.

Let me see if I can get a couple pictures posted on here and I'll be back with you all in the next day or two.
