First things first. Pittsburgh is a pretty lousy city all things considered, with even less going on then Cincinnati and Columbus. This weekend was cooooooooooooold! Uniontown and Fallingwater weren't too cold but Pittsburgh definitely was, especially at the Point and in between buildings . . . nightmares of downtown Cincinnati, further compounded by the lack of entertainment or restaurants in the downtown area. We stayed at the historic William Penn Hotel which is well restored.

Built in 1916, now an Omni hotel, the top floors had incredible Art Deco ballrooms, the lobby, though not as rare as the Netherland Plaza's was a nice neo-Classical design.

Fort Duquesne, the flocks of geese and accompanying tons of their feces were not worth it for the cold.
