day3- Gettysburg

Hi. This is Brandon. Whatever. Yesterday we went in a tower. We had to walk lots of steps. Then we got to see everything at the battlefield at Gettysburg. That's all I have.

Hi. This is Ryan. Yesterday we went to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. We saw where the soldiers fought the Civil War. Then we did a tour of the battlefields and we saw Culp's Hill. We also saw the Peach Farm, the Wheat Field, Little Round Top and Big Round Top. We saw how to load guns and cannons. Then we left to the Migliazzo's house. When we got there Luke and Mark were screaming. Yesterday was very fun.

What's up??? (Karyn) How are your normal lives going? Have you ever dragged yourself through piles and piles of history for hours on end? I did, yesterday. I don't mean it in a bad way! In the museum there were a whole lot of things that we didn't get to in class in fifth grade, so it was ntresting enough, but as you can tell by Brandon's blog he was bored to death all the way through it. It was pouring rain outside but we all got into the car anyway to do the tour of the battlefield. The cemetary was closed due to one measly tree, (which got struck by lightning and fell) but it was downpouring still so I didn't really mind not having to go in. We went up in a couple big ol' metal towers that viewed the battlefield, but it wasn't as pretty as a giant hill we went on (I think it was Little Roundtop) and we got to climb on the rocks and find stuff. If it was nicer out, I would've wanted to stay longer there. Brandon liked pretending he was a soldier, climbing around with all his heavy armor and hoolithingys. There was this big tower of stone that we went up in, too. I gave Good old Lincoln bunny ears. Okay, I think that wraps up yesterday. Bye, 😊
