The girls weeding the flower beds
Helping to finish the caretakers flower beds since they let us camp for free...We have made it to Tower City, North Dakota, about 50 miles west of Fargo/Moorhead. We are about an hour ahead of schedule. We stopped to look for camping and saw a seedy motel with a camping sign and went to the city park instead to get our bearings and cook. A couple from the house acrossed the street told us we could camp here for free. there are flush toilets, running pump water and a great lawn with a nice pavillion and a park for the kids to play in.
The temp in MN and here wasn't that bad, about 75 degrees or so with a constant breeze. Mom gave me a bundle of sage and a beautiful eagle feather. We are having smoked sausage and mac and cheese for supper.
