We are counting down the days until we head for Florida and the beginning of our adventure. We hope friends and family can use this forum to follow along as we cruise the ocean in our quest to circle the globe by boat. Let's keep our fingers crossed that everything gets packed up or sold before it's time to go!

"circle the globe" ???? Thought you guys were gonna float around the Med for a year. You both are so brave to be doing something like this. You guys are an example to all. Be safe. Cant wait to see pics and hear of your adventures.

Hey Jane! I am looking forward to hearing all about your journey. Wish we had this when we went to Europe. I am sure many things have changed since we went 20 years ago. Let me know if you need tips for Greece, Italy, Germany, Austria, France, UK. Almost made it to Ireland, but we ran out of time! We have great friends in Oxford England who live in a 600 year old house..they are equestrian types. He has a speed car racer repair shop. Very sweet and would let you stay with them. Anyway..I will et emails when you post...so post away! Machelle

Hey J and M, Hey you two. Wow, it sounds wonderful. I am so glad that all is going so great and you are really enjoying being together and the experiencing the adventure of the new sights. Your blogs are really interesting.( I am still trying to figure out the concept of many of the passengers going around the world and not ever coming home, like you described. What does that mean? Is the ocean their home? We are well. Greg retired 3 weeks ago, and we are digging out of the paper mess of 30 years accumulation. , but making real progress. ) Love to both, Linda
