First Snow of 2014 in Asheville NC

The first snow fall of 2014 came to Asheville NC on November 1st. We were planning on being out of the mountains before the snow came. Everyone said it was 7 weeks early. Our date to leave the area heading south was 4th November.


We had about 4 inches on most surfaces. The roads were ok where we were. They did close parts of the Blue Ridge Pkwy for this storm.
