I returned to New York City for the third time to participate in a University of Toronto field course. The course ran from September 1-5, and we stayed at the New York Loft Hostelin Morgantown, aka East Williamsburg, formerly known as Bushwick. This old warehouse sat vacant for a long time before being sold for $7 million in 2000. After controversal rezoning from industrial use, it was resold for $25 million ini 2012. The entire buidling will hold only 10 luxury units with this high-end development is complete.
