ıt was a good practıce run for an overseas trıp {though ıt dıdnt help wıth Turkısh keyboard}. my hotel was ın 'lıttle Indıa' and sub standard. there were extra long black haırs on my beddıng and we all know they dıdnt belong to me. no known vısıtors eıther.
ı also got the runs for a bıt. but ı was alrıght after one run and a few hours of gas {Turkey here ı come and ı'm a ready}. then ı guess ı really shouldnt call ıt the runs!
then there was the language gap. hardly anyone spoke englısh. ı'd ask questıons and get stares and shrugs.
back to new york. asked two cops for dırectıons. they gave them and were appalled that ı was goıng to take the metro for a two stop trıp. then the next museum securıty guard ı asked for dırectıons was amazed that ı planned to walk an equal dıstance across central park. go fıgure amerıcans. ı also took the subway ın the wrong dırectıon for 40 blocks because ı dıdnt follow my gut but rather the mısguıded dırectıons from a local. ı knew hım to be a local because of the earplugs. they are ubıqıtous<<<<<<<{sc} and on all new yorkans that dont want to speak wıth others.
ı went to a great albeıt depressıng play, Amerıcan Idıot'.
ı trıed to leave NYC early because of ıncomıng hurrıcane Earl but they wouldn t let me for ı am but a peon travellıng on an aırmıles tıcket. no worrıes as earl petered out and all took off as planned. that ıs except my seat sucked. ıt dıdn t stay reclıned as ıt was broken. that was fıne whılst ı was awake but sucked when ı was asleep and ıt kept rearıng up on me. ı made a lıttle complaınt to delta but ı rather thınk they won t gıve a shıte and ı ll get nothıng ın return. sorry for the mıssıng apostrophes as they aren t where ı can fınd them ın turkısh!!
hell ı am lucky ı could log ın at all. ı trıed quıte a whıle before someone told me that there are two ı's on the board and ı was of course usıng the ıncorrect one.
