In the past 224 days of travelling, we have....

Flown, zorbed, shopped, walked, relaxed, lazed, dived, skydived,
cycled, bussed, mountain climbed, sampled 200 beers, tubed, bungeed,
driven, slept, eaten, drunk, swam, snorkelled, motorbiked, sailed,
gazed in awe, culture vultured, learnt some history, read about 75 books,
photographed, blogged, visited 6 wine regions, kayaked, big tree'd,
sunbathed, tanned, burnt, had 2 haircuts (both Dave's), shaved,
camper vanned, camped, BBQ'd, spear fished, tramped, trekked, hiked,
glacier walked, visited temples, towers, animal sanctuaries, towns,
villages, cities, countries, zoos, bridges, islands, mountains,
rivers, beaches....

We have also mud bathed, sulphur pooled, bridge climbed, hostelled,
surfed, body boarded, sand boarded, 4x4'd, road tripped, thai boxed,
Aussie ruled, baseballed (in a non participatory way), cinema'd, volleyballed, nightclubbed, pubbed, barred, island hopped, emailed, happy houred, pooled, sudoku'd, orangutang'd, jungle trekked, talked, postcarded, handicraft marketed, elephant ridden, koala hospital'd, border crossed, visa stamped, quarantined, got wet, got dry, got hot, got cold, got windy, got icy, got ill, caved, been bitten, laundered, washed (occasionally), shot, collected, beer t-shirted, wined, dined, had fine times, time travelled, river cruised, luged, carved, back packed, travelled, chilled, planned, diary'd, flying foxed, been on location, been on tv, noodled, lagooned, rated, waited, weaved, bracletted, saronged, fiji-timed, kava'd, hammocked, cooked, anniversaried, birthday'd, sampled McD's in 6 new countriess, heard plenty of Phil Collins, missed 4 births, sky trained, tuk-tuk'd, hired cars, dragon boated, cable carred, survived bombs, bartered, canyoned, gambled, stalked, sped and rodeod.

We've seen cats, dogs, big insects, little insects, lizards, horses, chickens, elephants, butterflies, cows, rats, snakes, pigs, waterbuffalo, monkeys, squids, crabs, ducks, bears, deer, sheep, tigers, bats, fish, sea snakes, shrews, squirrells, wild chickens, spiders, sharks, turtles, rays, octopii, lobsters, 2m monitor lizards, macaques, orangutans, quokkas, roos, emus, peacocks, koalas, fairy penguins, possums, crocs, wallabies, wombats, kookaburras, gallahs, seals, dolphins, goanna lizards, pythons, brush turkeys, whales, dusky dolphins, wagtails, fantails, eagles, wild boars, alpacas, llamas, donkeys, highland cattle, bison, tibetan yaks, thars, moray eels and we even found Nemo. Plus of course, the legendary Dr Karl Kennedy.

We're tired. We need a holiday. It's probably almost time to go home.

Almost?

Well, our plane doesn't leave just yet and I do believe it may well be beer o'clock.

Home and the memories
