the walls in this apartment are thick. you can't hear anything going on in your neighbors' apartments. normally. that's why i feel bad for the guy next door. i think he has "problems" regarding his bowel movements. i can hear him moan from the window. it sounds like a ghost, searching for his soul in a world no longer his. then the toilet flushes.

i can hear him now. i can hear the ghost and the toilet flush.
