So i thought that after almost 3 years on the road i should write a blog about the place that started it all....Camp. Things here are good and the department that Im in charge of ( tennis you idiots ) is running like a pack of wild gazelles. This place is pretty cool, the work is hard and involves 6 hours of coaching a day to kids of various standards, but it is by far the most rewarding job i have had in my short time on the planet.

I have been here now for about 14 weeks more or less and everyday involves a different event happening. Since the time I arrived in NY and went out with Becky and the boys I came over here with it seems like a decade has gone by.

The day to day of camp life invovles me getting up at about 9am, and teaching classes from 9.30 to lunch and then from after lunch to dinner. All in all its about 6 hours of coaching a day. Tennis is very popular at the camp and we would see about 300 kids a day in the busiest time of the summer.

The days off from camp involve most of the time getting a good group of people together and heading for a day off somewhere close. It may just be a trip down the rapids or a three hour drive to a fun park in New Jersey. Whatever we decide its always a great day...

So i thought i would put up a few photos of camp and some of the kids, they pretty much explain themselves, hope u enjoy them and stay tuned for the next installment of NYC and South Carolina. Ciao for now....Nick

He made a visit to see if he could still keep up with us, after ordering more and more straws for his drink ( to make it like the girly ones at home he drinks ) he finally gave up and spilt it all over his shirt instead of his mouth...love ya dad!!!
