Lots of pictures in this blog!! The trees were planted!! My journal entry from March 5th simply says 'Tree planting, exhausted - enough said' That first day there were 8 of us and we planted 600 trees , 8-10 foot tall willow saplings with diameters ranging from 1-3 inches. The next day 35 folks from the regional office showed up and fortified with doughnuts we all planted 1200 more tree... Read Full Entry

Were the willow the \"straw that broke the camels\' (yours) back?\" I was amazed that 8 could plant 600 willow and the addition of 35 persons only doubled the amount of willow planted the previous day. The 35 additions must must have been donut eaters. I really like the photos of the cliff dwellers. Be well. P

the additional workers helped us finish by noon - Had they brought their own shovels it might have gone even faster.

Very nice pictures. In San Antonio visit the Alamo. Loving history like I do it was almost a religious experience. Friends I was with said "I thought it was much bigger and commented it was so commercialized. What do they know? Enjoy! TD
