Nov 2. Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor, NJ
We continued monitoring marine weather forecasts. The winds were getting stronger and we had little information about the type of mooring we were made up on.
We decided to move. At 1030 we dropped the mooring lines and maneuvered through the mooring field towards Atlantic Municipal Harbor, NJ. We had 20 kts gusts winds pushing us on our starboard side.

We pulled up at the fuel dock and put in 209 gal to fill up the tank. Diesel is at 2.99 a gallon up here. Shortly after that we moved to a finger slip.

For tonight after midnight, the marine forecast announces winds 20 to 25 kts from the NW with gusts up to 40 kts and waves from to 2 to 4 ft.

For tomorrow Saturday, the marine forecast announces winds 25 to 30 kts from the N with gusts up to 40 kts and waves from to 2 to 4 ft until midnight and diminishing to 10 to 15 kts with gusts up to 35 kts after midnight.

Basically, we are going to have Gale force winds (F8) from midnight tonight to tomorrow at midnight caused by Hurricane Noel.
