After a very pleasant 3 and 1/2wks. in Florida,I headed West.Somewhere in Alabama,while on the interstate,the RV,which has been running perfectly,just suddenly quit running,like someone flipped a switch.It would turn over but not a hint of starting.Fluids,wires,hoses all seemed OK.So I made the call for a tow truck.While waiting for it,I took off the air filter and pumped the throttle.No gas came out of the jets,so I wondered about not having fuel,despite the gauge showing about an 1/8 tank remaining.Of courses the huge wrecker didn't have any, so we called his buddy to bring some out.After putting 5 gallons in the tank,she started right up.It was an expensive lesson about the calibration of the fuel gauge.But fortunately nothing more serious.So after losing several hrs. and $,I continued on to Mississippi.
