Ahhhhh……..it is 9:30 am (CST) on Sunday, the bed is made, the dishes are done, I am dressed and finishing my last few sips of my second cup of coffee. Not able to use printer wirelessly
Hi Mom, Glad you guys made it there safe and sound. My thoughts on why you can't reach your printer is that they have a feature enabled called guest isolation. We do this at work for our wireless guests. They are allowed to access the Internet, but not other guest clients. Your printer would be considered another guest in this case. We enable this setting to prevent people from attacking or infecting other guest clients. Make sense?

Hi Linda, I'm glad you made it safely. The snapdragons at the casino are so pretty! Thanks for the flower pics. It's 31 and icy here, so enjoy the warmer weather there, even though it's not as warm as you would have liked. It sure looks funny to see Christmas decorations up with leaves on the trees

Lights
Most people put lights on things.....Biloxi looks like they make things and them light them up. Clever!!! RE: printer. What is the Operating System on your laptop? What is the year and make of your printer? Newer laptops (WIN 8 particularly and some WIN 7) have wireless compatibility issues. Did you bring your printer's installation disc? You may try to uninstall and reinstall the printer for wireless. If you don't have the CD, try re-establishing the connection from the printer to the computer. Let me know if any of that works. Love the blog!!! The beaches look fantastic. FYI: It's cold here too. It was in the 30's and 40's last night, 47 this morning at 8 AM. Should be high 60's by the weekend. YES!!!

Windows 8
Marsha, I have a new (last year) Windows 8 laptop and a brand, brand new wireless printer. I do have the printer installation disks, but I think when I installed it - it didn't work from the disks because of windows 8 - I think I had to go online to do it. In any case - I do have the usb option plus - we do have a MIFI which should work wirelessly as well, just haven't configured it yet. Thanks though....
