Getting Ready and the Master List of STUFF.

So reality is finally setting in. I guess it is a big, "what are we doing" and "we can't wait!" So being this is our first blog about our trip I will introduce us. There are four of us on this trip, myself (Brenda) my husband Gerson, and our sweet boys Ethan (2.5 y.o) and Owen (6 months old). So both Gerson and I have always loved travelling and we have both travelled a lot, however that was before the 2 little rats came along. So here comes the trip of our life time. In a nutshell this is our itinerary: Minnesota - Los Angeles (1 day lay over to see friends and beach it up a bit), Los angeles to Bangkok (for a weekend) Bangkok to Bali (I think 12 days should probably double check that) then back to Bangkok and down to the Beaches in Thailand, after this we will split up for a week, Gerson will head back to San Franscisco to take a major life changing test, and I will head to Taipei to see my cousin with the boys in tow, we will then meet back in Bangkok and we will head to Cambodia, Vietnam, and then I don't know. . . We really haven't planned much after that. Lets see.



Total time travelling is 78 days. It could go really fast or slow! Depending on the amount of tears the 4 of us shed 😊



So my brother requested a list of the items we are bringing because lets face it, this is a massive undertaking!!!! So here is goes, I believe this is pretty accurate. If you get bored please feel free to page down 😊

- 1 kidco Pea pod (Owen's "crib"), 2 coloring books, 2 sticker books, 3 to go coloring packets w/ stickers etc, 6 trucks, 1 Ziploc of Cars, 2 lego sets (fire truck and tractor), 6 baby toys for owen, 5 kids books, pencil crayons and sharpener, settlers of Catan, 3 decks of Playing cards, Quiddler, portable cloth high chair, 1 beach towel,

Ethan's clothes: 8 pairs of undies, 2 long sleeve shirts, 2 pairs of PJ's, 1 sweatpants/hoodie, 5 t-shirts, 5 shorts, 2 swim suits/shirts, 2 pairs socks, Keens. Owen's clothes: 2 swim suit/shirts, 1 swim diaper, 4 onesies, 3 rompers, 3 pairs of PJ's, 2 long sleeve shirts, 2 pairs sweatpants/hoodies, 2 pairs socks, 1 pair of leather slipper shoes. Gerson's clothes: 2 pairs socks, 6 boxers, 6 t-shirts, 4 shorts, 2 swim shorts, 1 pair of travel pants, Keens and Flip flops, 1 hoodie. Brenda's clothes: 1 pair of travel pants, 2 bikini's, 4 shorts, 6 shirts, 1 long sleeve, 1 pair of leggings, 2 bras, 1 pair of PJ's, Keens and flip flops, 1 hoodie.

Electronics: Mac Book, Nikon SLR camera, video camera, external hardrive, headphones x3, outlet adapter, itouch, ipad, and a random mess of cords.
Other: 2 kleen canteen water bottles, 1 sippy cup for Ethan, 1 bottle, 1 sippy cup for Owen, 1 box of Oatmeal (Owen), 1 box of puffs (Owen), 4 containers of sunscreen, 2 hand wipe sanitizer packets, 4 liquid to go hand sanitizer, deodorant, chapstick x2, Shampoo/conditioner combo for the big kids, Baby shampoo/conditioner/detangler/body wash, razors x2, tooth paste (big and little people) tooth brushes x3, sunglasses x4, hats x5, Bibs, x7, thermometers, ziplock of medications, 3 spoons, 2 Ergo baby carriers, Contact solution, a smidge of make up to make this tired mommy look a little better 😊, 1 roll of arm and hammer poo bags. Some random food items to be picked up along the way but not worth enough of writing down.

Life changing items: 1 mickey mouse blanket, 1 brown blanket, 1 blue bunny rabbit, 1 tigger, 3 binkie's + leashes (pacifiers), 4 passports, some money and a few credit cards, a lot of diapers and wipes, and 1 Lonely Planet South East Asia on a shoe string guide book.

So that's it. For 3 months. we are very excited. We have a few items left to do tomorrow and then our trip is underway on Tuesday. We can't wait. We will try and post blogs as we are able, if the children sleep and so on. So wish us luck and follow along as we sweat, cry and temper tantrum our way around South East Asia.
