The Beginning...
This is my first experience w/ a blog so bear w/ me. I'm preparing for my first trip to Guatemala: Antigua, Tikal, and Lake Atitlan (including Chichicastenago). The first part of the trip is a Rotary Project Fair where Rotary Clubs from North and Central America look for partners for World Community Service projects. (This is my second trip to attend a project fair; the first one was in Honduras.) More to follow 'cause it's back to organizing and packing. 😊

Travel is an important part of my life. I've traveled around the world as a student; it changed my outlook on the world and my place in it. As a Rotarian, I've traveled to fascinating places with more on the list. And then there's just my ongoing list of places to return to as well as visit for the first time.
