We left Kennebunk and headed out in the rain and fog for Concord, Mass. It was so foggy, we couldn't see the Atlantic Ocean even though we were just across the street form it. We made it to Lexington and luckily it had stopped raining and the sun was trying to peek out, though it was quite windy. We toured the Hancock-Clarke house, the Buckman Tavern and the Munroe Tavern. All are important buildings in the development of the beginning of the American Revolution. We also saw the Minuteman Monument drove through parts of the Minuteman National Park. We were advised not to stop and hike around, as the rangers were kicking people out.
Tomorrow we head to Boston for a 7 night stay.
