Until the sun goes down...Until the sun goes down...Until the sun goes down...

over Santa Monica Boulevard
There are three wants which never can be satisfied: that of the rich, who wants something more; that of the sick, who wants something different; and that of the traveler, who says, "Anywhere but here."

Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.

A good traveler has no well-defined plan and is not intent on arriving.

He who travels much comes to know more than he who lives long.

You need a change of soul rather than a change of climate.

I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read in the train.

If an ass goes traveling he will not come home a horse.

He who would travel happily must travel light.

YEAH-WHATEVA!

I remember being dissapointed with the deserted Santa Monica beach and trashy Hollywood. I remember scrambling for suveniers in Japantown and having my last taste of the best Sushi on the planet. If I try hard I can recall going to my first bar ever and dancing and dancing and dancing to the 80's and wanting to stay in LA forever and a long sigh as I sat in my window seat and said my goodbyes to the mountains. And it was so weird to finally be home, so weird to sleep in my own bed, so weird-and so good.

So thanks guys for reading my blog and supporting me on my adventures...!!!
I know it has been months upon months since I got back, but I never got a chance for closure or to realy conclude...so: in conclusion then, I leave you this:

Yes, ounces add up.

Hey Nickola
Nickola, Your blog was an adventure for all of us too. Thanks for bringing us along. I'm glad you like the Tales of the City books. There are even more sequels you know. And I've heard he's published a brand new one this year about Mouse today. Happy reading. Uncle Peter
