Dear Readers, This will be our last night camping in Maine. Tomorrow we'll leave for Portland where we shall meet up with the 3 J's of the Svihus Family. Naturally we are excited to see them live and in person. I think I can safely say we are also excited about staying in a hotel for 3 nights: more warmth, more room in the bed, more hot showers, more restaurant food, more conversation, more sites to see, more boats to look at... This Colonial Mast campground has been very nice and the family who runs it are very helpful. We are the only motorhome on promitory (spell check doesn't like that one), so you know what I mean...a point of land that juts out into Long Lake (which it is!). There are 5 campsites out here and we are the only RV. We look right out upon the lake, but it is too cold to even sit out and look at all this scenic beauty surrounding us. Thank goodness for Timmy who demands we go outside! We shopped around Bridgton yesterday as we continue our Christmas list choosing from locally made, purchased, and now stored in a cupboard. We are also taking a hand in craft-making. Yes, we do have some extra time on our hands. We devour the Boston Globe daily, have read numerous books, and again last night watched a movie in bed to keep warm "Forget Paris" was cute and reminded us that we were there last year in the fall with Kirks. Today is another catch-up day with laundry, various & sundry items to pick up, and food to consume before our Embassy welcomes us into their Suites. If the blog is quiet for awhile; blame the blogger who is having too much fun with family. Eventually, you, Dear Readers, will hear all about it. love, DWT
