Leaving the beach for snow --- boo hiss

This is it -- we are heading home!

First stop on the way back is Mississippi and then back through Dallas. Before we headed out of Mississippi, one of the tires on the truck needed to be fixed. Thank God we spotted the tire going down before we headed out. It could have gotten ugly.

Spent the night at Poverty Point state park in Delhi, Louisana. Neat place --- lake, cabins, lodges, and free wifi. Got the senior discount too --- Yippie!!

Lots of money was spent on this park, but you can tell it is used year round. Check out the "tent" campers and empty boat trailers -- burr.
