Illinois State HOG Rally

It's 11:30 pm and almost packed. Bev and I are getting ready to head to the Illinois HOG Rally near St. Louis, Mo. Have checked Yelp website for a couple of places to eat. Looks promising. Rain in the forecast, that is not unusual in the midwest. Maybe we will get lucky and dodge the real soaker ones. Leaving in the morning and have a reservation in O'Fallon, Il. Scott AFB is nearby and maybe will take a ride over that way. Flat land here we come.

I am 62 years old and started riding Harley's about ten years ago and have gotten more vacation time riding in these past few years than any other time. We have been to Adirondack, Maine, Pennsylvania, West Virginia on rte 39, the Colorado Rockies, Black Hills, and numerous other places. Now I am going to try my hand at writing a blog and see how it turns out. The first blog ride is with several other guys that work at Com Ed the power company. Five us are lineman.
