Day 5. I only brought one sweat shirt for the trip thinking we will be visiting places in July. Maybe a couple nights out west will be cool. Well, today it is only 61 degrees in Chicago. We started out with a morning jog by the Lake to Grant Park, visited Buckingham Fountain and then went to the SkyDeck in Willis Tower.
We then hit the Navy Pier. Life is like a box of chocolates...so, we let the boys choose lunch--Bubba Gump Shrimp. I didn't go in with high expectations but it was surprisingly good.
Well, "our full tank of gas" ran low after all that running around. We ditched the boys and let them recover for a few minutes while Tracey and I toured the hotel. There is so much incredible architecture here in Chicago and our hotel, the Intercontinental, is definitely one of the gems.
Now, that we are recharged we have decided to head out for some pics at the Bean and then Dinner.
