The religion I resurched was Sikhism. It is number five in the top ten religions in this time. There are twenty five million followers of this religion as well. That is .4 percent of the population of earth. The religion was founded 500 years ago. The people believe in devotion and rememberance of god, truthful living, and equality. They believe that everyone from different religion, diffent race, sex, and age Are all equal. They even view women as equal and they are allowed to serve during the ceremonies . This religion also has rituals like denounces, superstitions, and blind rituals. They only believe in one god so they are monotheistic. The founder of this religion is Guru Nanak who criticized the Hindus and Muslims for their blind worship. So he created his own religion and was one of the ten Gunus. These are ten men who passed down the beliefs of the first one and ceeated more as time went on. From those believes the book Sikh Holy Book was written.
