What role do women play in this society? Do they have equality? If not, what discrimination do women in this country face?



In the country of Brazil, women's rights are still unequal to this day. They practice machismo which give men strength and authority and shows women with weakness. Also, women were equal to children back then and didn't have the right to vote until 1932. At this time, the women had a civil right movement which was successful and gave them rights. To this day there is more equality but not to the point where men and women are equal.

The country of Brazil was some what a unequal country in a way. Men where seen as the upper class especially in politics unlike women who where just as equal to kids back then. However, women fought for their right just like people in America and successfully gained their rights. women are now more respected in this country and have increased in terms of equality.
