On September 11,2001 a tragedy happened in New York City and a lot of people experienced bad things. The person I interviewed about this event was my mom. On 9/11 my mom was at home because she was off of work that day. She said it was a good thing she was off because she worked in downtown Chicago and something bad could have happened because it is a big city. She said that she was watching what happened on the television and she had gotten worried. She was worried because she had friends that were working downtown in Chicago. While she was listening she was hoping that nothing would happen in Chicago. This day she remembers hearing about all the innocent people that died in the buildings and all the firefighters that dies trying to save everybody. My mom also said that she was shocked that this unfortunate event happened in New York and killed all those innocent people.
