1. The garment workers in Bangladesh work under extremely poor conditions. Despite the industry being worth billions, the workers are treated poorly and work under dangerous conditions. In response to the most recent garment factory industry tragedy, the government has begun to give certain rights to garment workers that they did not have before.

2. I think that human rights were violated because of the way they were treated. I believe that human right #5 is being violated because it ensures humans that they cannot be subjected to cruel or torturous treatment r punishment.

3. I overall agree with what has been done so far but feel like more should be done. I believe that the wages should be raised a lot more and that laws should be placed against the people who run the garment factories to prevent them from building the floors illegally because it can lead to future disaster.
