After a tragic incident that killed more than 1,100 people, garment workers in Bangladesh receive union rights and have their minimum wage raised. Before this happened, the conditions in the working buildings were horrible. More constructions were illegally built and were challenged with heavy equipment.

Human rights had to first be violated in order to be protected. It is sad that people had to die in order to bring justice into these work places.

Honestly, what had to be done is already done. People need to be protected kin the future to prevent more deaths. Also it was not fair to those who worked in dangerous places and were only paid minimum wage. I agree that people should be protected and given their human rights. Unfortunately, people have to lose their lives and deal with dangerous workIng environment in order to improve and secure a better future.
