1. I believe that in the "Declaration of the Rights of Man" Law can only prohibit such actions as are hurtful to society. Nothing may be prevented which is not forbidden by law, and no one may be forced to do anything not provided for by law. That part of the declaration is sort of violated, for example religious symbols have been banned in public. Even though it doesn't hurt society, it is prohibited.
2. I believe that violence is only justifiable if the people committing the violent acts are being oppressed in one form or another. People should be able to express themselves with violence only if it were necessary. They canna break the chain if and only if theory resort to violence, for violence always sends a message.
