I do think that they should be held responsible for what was commitments were made. These Natives had rights and still do until this day. I believe that what U.S. was doing was wrong and that messing with the native lands was not right. We are the U.S. we shouldn't be making it harder for Native Americans to live here. Even though it was their land first. Even with treaties made after the war a lot of their individual rights were broken. The treaties made and that are being kept still or have not been broken is great because that's the noble way to go about things. I don't think they would break treaties intentionally though and the Natives just want whats best for their land.
