I think the united states should keep the promises they made in their treaties with the native Americans. before the Europeans came, the native Americans were the only inhabitants of the land. They had to fight to try to keep the land that was originally theirs. The united states realized this after many natives had already lost their lives. I think the treaties were a good idea but still unfair. It is good that we let them keep their own government and land but we ended up taking almost all the land from them. The least the government can do is keep the promises stated in the may treaties between the US and the native Americans. The natives deserve more than the promises in the treaties.
