I do not think that the government should be responsible for abiding by the commitments that its predecessors made. I believe they shouldn't because that was a commitment from a long time ago and things have changed since now. There are many different tribes and they all cost money that America does not have at this time. Native Americans should be able to live off of no money from the government that helps them out with everything because that isn't fair in this day in age. If America stills wants to give the Natives money then they should only pay for some of their essential needs not all of them because us american people are not getting anything handed on a plater to us. The native americans back then are the ones who deserve the benefits since they were alive at the time that their land was taken away. But the indians now have been here after america has been established for awhile.
