1) The article I read Day of the Death was about how day of the death all started. Day of the death was practice by Spanish Conquistadors who seem to mock the death. The ritual now known as the day of the death is celebrated in Mexico and in some parts of the United States. People go vist people who have past away and they spend their day and eat with them. Many people celebrate day of the death differently.

2) My reaction to this is that I acually think its a good thing to do because you get to spend a day with the person you lost. Also because it's like a day were you take time and think about them.

3)The way this connects to class is because the Spanish Conquistadors are the ones who started this ritual. Also because they talk about Aztecs anf other Meso- American civilizations and how they practice this ritual.
