RIHLA#19: Columbus Controversy

1. What this was basically about was that even though Columbus discovered America there is evidence that says Columbus treated the native americans poorly and used them as slaves. Columbus brought diseasesto the new world which killed off most of the people. So the quetsion that comes up is that should he be celebrated as a hero.

2. I agree with the idea of Columbus not being celebrated because of this new evidence and I dont think people should be celebtrated do such malicious acts as columbus did.

3. It related to world history because of the past RIHLA that we did about heros being celebrated.
