"Day of the Dead" R.H.L.I.A # 19

The Spanish conquistadors created a celebration to mock the dead. This ritual has been practied for more than 3,000 year. Hugh celebrations are held in Mesa, Chandler, Guadalupe, and Arizona State University. The Aztecs use the skulls of the dead as trophies and displayed them during the ritual. My reaction/ opinion on this is that these actions were really weird but respectable because they did these things to respect their relatives. This connects to class by explaining how people back then respected and honered the dead rather than just having a funreal.
