1. Day of the dead was a ritual that indigenous people practice and Spaniards unsuccessfully tried to copy it. Day of the dead is now a day which people around the world practice today. Day of the dead is the day where you honor relatives that have died.

2. I think it was wrong for the Spaniards to try to convert the indigenous people into becoming Catholic and trying to kill their ritual. I think it's pretty cool that in different places they celebrate the day in different ways giving it their own little twist. It's also amazing how people do so much to remember and honor their relatives who have died.

3. This connects to what we are learning today because we are learning about how the Spaniards were taking over.
