1. In the article "Day of the Dead history Indigenous people wouldn't let 'Day of the Dead' die" by Carlos Miller, the author says that the Day of the Dead comes from the Spanish Conquistadors when they landed what is Mexico now. People today celebrate the Day of the Dead with sweet bread, wooden skull mask, dance in honor of their deceased relatives, and more. Day of the Dead is celebrated in many different ways in Mexico and in certain parts of the United States and Central America.

2. My reaction about this was understanding. The only thing I didn't know anbout this is that it came from the Spanish Conquistadors, and that it has been practice 3,000 years ago.

3. How this relates to class is on the topics we're learning about exploration.
