Is GPS All in Our Heads?

1) GPS devices are just another excuse to be lazy. People should be using their cognitive skills, which helps them remeber the places they are going to. Using your brain can be quicker to reach your destination and when you do not have map skills it can be very hard to replace or regain those skills. People will be lost without GPS devices so they should not rely on them all the time. A GPS is a device that is considered technology which is overused all the time in this era, what does your brain need to do? Nothing, GPS is the your brain while driving.

2) My reaction is I agree that GPS devices corrupt our brains. i believe this because we do not even use our own memory or knowledge while driving. Using GPS is the easy way out in my opinion should start using their own brain not a talking device.

3) It relates to class because we are learning about the different maps. What is the point, if everyone will use technology? I now know how bad they actually are so this helps me see that I will be using the maps in class in the future. Also technology didn't come until later so maybe we will experience what it was like without technology and just using maps.
