1)The article "Is Gps in our heads?" is talking about how use our gps very often. We do not use our own skills to get to our destination.Instead we plug in the adress in the Gps and go. We do not use a map to get there. The article also talks about how the only way of not losing our skills is by putting them to practice.

2)My reaction is that many people do not know how to use a map in the first place. They have to rely on the Gps to get the around.

3)This relates to world history class since we are learning how columbus got to America. He did not use a map to get around. Columbus had to use his own skills to go where he wanted to go.
