Banned Books

Some of the reasons why books are banned in scholl is because of its content. Some are banned due to putting a lot of drug use and use of sexual content. No i do not agree with censoship because I belive that there is no reason that there should be. The reason I think there are censors is because adults try to protect children from "bad" things, but that is impossible to completely protect them. I do agree that it is not ok to let kids read or even see pornagrafic material because that was meant for adults only but when the whole book is not soley on the subject of sex it should be read by mature children who can handle it. I think the people who should determine what books sholud be taught is the kids themselves because it lets them have a say on what they will be learning and they will be more engarged. If an individual wanted try and fight for a book censorship they should probably talk to the princapal and see what happens from ther.
