In this article it talks about education in old Egypt. In the article they say how that writing is more valuable than ohters, food, cloths, and relationships. Being able to write in Old Egypt offers asomeone the ability of choice and be better than other people and having the kings trust and being able to make a living without working physicaly. The frustration of the teacher in this passage is that the sudent doesn't completely know if they want to be a scribe or not.

In connecting my college vist to the education in Old Egypt is that now and then we both value writing and reading skills. However in Old Egypt is was loked upon only people who were worthy but, now anyone can do it.So inthe end I don't think people valued education in Egypt than they do right now.
