Slavery back in the day was known widely and everyone was able to do it. It was seen moral. Due to the emancipation proclamation slavery was abolished. Although it was it abolished it is still seen today by kidnapping all types of people and making them do things against their will. This connects to Presidnt Lincoln because they are trying to change the way people treat one another. They're trying to stop this "slavery" that we have. The Polaris Project is a hotline where you can call 24hours and tell them if you feel like your being treated as a slave. I think this is a good project because it's a way to help with grieving and letting out your feelings. I do think it's a way of slavery because it's making people do things against their will. Modern day slavery is prostitution, illegals working and being threatened.
