This relates because in class we were talking about how cultures started to separate into different class groups. We also talked about how some are protected more then others and that is what was happening in the article too.
It said that some of the indias reacted to the rapes by creating somewhat a militia like groups and raiding and raping the women.
The treatment of the people in the U.S are the same because they are not paid attention to.
I found that the police didn't do anything interesting and that some of them took money or joined in when stuff was going on to lower class
