Day two…5 States: Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinios
We learned that our truck likes to drop down to 2nd gear when going up hills with cruise control. Benji was not too happy about this, thus began his “bad truck” motto as he hit the brakes and acted like he was driving a stick again.

On pitstop number 1, we realized that the end caps for our bumper fell out. Our sewage hose could have fallen out too. Don’t worry, Mandie fixed it! And, duct tape makes its first appearance.

Corn…lots and lots of corn.

It’s International Snood Day!

Once we were parked at our campsite, Benji learned that you must unhook safety chains before moving the truck.

“Happy” was the dude who checked us in our campsite. He loves his gater!

Mandie has a tummy ache.

We realized that the power cord would not reach our power source. We found directions to the local Wal-Mart, but couldn’t find it. After touring much of the eastern side of Bloomington, we finally found the “Hidden Walmart”

Mike’s catch phrase (Which we can’t remember now…)

Benji cut his finger.

(Should we rest

This is where we stayed: Carlock, IL
for a day? Or continue forward…)

Benji learned that you can shut your fingers in the camper door, but it really, REALLY hurts! “It’s not so much the shutting, but the ripping of flesh,” he says.

Mike went out for firewood, but was unable to split it.

Lightning bugs are out!

PS: We have pictures, but our internet doesn't reach our camper and I'm being eaten alive by bugs. I'll add them when I can do it from the comfort of my own camper! Till then, happy trails!
