First entry.
Take an old one ton Dodge "church" van, toss in some cash, stir with equal parts retired persons and VERY friendly work place and the adventure begins.

The vehicle (as yet un-named) has been through trial-by-fire on annual trip to Yuma, AZ area. Around 4/1/2006 the concerned parties will start trip prep in earnest. Lots of maintenance and housekeeping items on the agenda.

Brief Sketch:
drive to Bellingham, WA
Take Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) to Haines, AK
Drive into the state.
Drive back through Jasper Alberta.
